The Kroger Soccer Complex is around 24 acres of recreational space mainly consisting of large lawns and multiple soccer playing areas. It is situated on the northern tip of Winchester proper, surrounded by farmland and adjacent to the North East Retention Basin, a 60-acre pond once used for waste-water overflow.
The complex is primarily used by families for soccer recreation and is a source of revenue for the WCCPR. Extensive lawns on the site require significant efforts by parks maintenance and operations teams to care for the site. Click here for an interactive map tour of all the parks.
