We are still in the process of getting credentialed with insurances. At the moment we are accepting Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield (Elevance Health), Federal Employee Program (FEP), Medicare Part B, United Healthcare, and Medicaid.
If you would like to wait to schedule until we have your insurance, you totally can! We would recommend still calling our office so we can register you as a new patient and set up an appointment reminder -- that way we can call you back when we have received word from your insurance.
We also take cash pay (cash, credit/debit card, check) if that is more convenient for you. To ask about cash pay pricing, call us at 540-450-5300.
Lastly, we could always bill out-of-network with your insurance and then add your insurance to your account when we are able to take it.

We are still in the credentialing process with payers. If you do not see your insurance listed in one of our accepted payers, you can always pay self-pay (cash, credit/debit, check) or bill your insurance out-of-network. Either way, we will provide you with a receipt to keep or to send to your payer.
What does it mean to self-pay?
Our self-pay option means you can pay in cash or using a check, credit card, or debit card. If you decide to self-pay for your appointment in the office, the team at Bloom Women’s Health can provide you with a receipt. Sometimes insurance policies will provide their members with out-of-pocket deductibles. Before or after your visit, you can call your insurance using the phone number on the back of your insurance card and ask about applying this payment to your out-of-pocket deductible; they will usually ask for a receipt.
What does it mean to bill out-of-network?
If you do not see your insurance and would like to explore the out-of-network billing option, please reach out to your insurance to ask how out-of-network works with your specific policy. From our experience, members are usually able to get in touch with an insurance agent using the member phone number on the back of their insurance card much faster than our team is able to on the provider end! Ask the agent about pricing for the type of visit you would like to see Bloom Women’s Health for, and ask them if the team at Bloom would be able to send the bill straight to the insurance on your behalf.
Bloom Women’s Health is not liable for the response from the payer. We have not been informed individually by payers how they will handle these out-of-pocket (self-pay) or out-of-network claims. If you have any questions concerning Bloom Women’s Health’s process, call us (540-450-5300) at your convenience.
